Day 272
I am thankful for cool (as in opposite of hot outside) things, air conditioning, ice, ice cream bars, freezer sections of grocery stores, the entire inside of Walmart. We have had ourselves a short but intense heat wave-that kind of heat that takes your breath away when you step outside. All week the comment has been "it's so oppressive out there". Cooler temps are promised by Saturday. I'm so thankful!
