I am thankful for the time I had this weekend to spend with my sister and her husband. It was a relaxed, comfortable weekend of spending time together. Sis and I ran a few errands, made some soup stock, and watched Olympics and a movie together. I was able to get a good start on her scarf and enough done so that we could see the pattern and yarn working together.
I enjoyed another lovely drive returning home to many more blossoms on the Purple Leaf Plum.
The tree was buzzing with visitors. I wonder if they're from the hives in the nearby almond orchard.
"The Scarf" is finished! I'll head to the post office tomorrow after work and get it off to Boston. I'm pleased with this project.
