Sing a new song

Day 4

I'm thankful for choirmates. The choir family, such a joy to be "us". We have a prayer time at the beginning of rehearsal. I am always impressed at the depth of thought and the seriousness with which we bring our concerns and pray over them.

We started a new song for Christmas Eve. Tonight. It's not an easy one. We laughed so hard at our misguided attempts to sing through the song. It's going to be one of those pieces we learn 8 measures at a time. So, I'm thankful for the challenge of a new, interesting piece and for the choir who sings it!
