Today I am thankful for full moons. And Cameras.
I am caught today by the notion of how circumstances affect my thankfulness. It wasn't an awful day at school. It was a bit harder than usually but the kids were good, an assistant stepped up and helped the day go better, I tracked down a parent and acquired a needed signature.
Tonight I've been hunting for a discontinued yarn online. Not a bust but a disappointment that people want so much money for it. I have found several people with very good prices but not at the quantity I'm wanting. So, after all that, in spite of nothing being wrong I'm less thankful.
This is not good! So, perspective shift: I have found several people selling the yarn I want at very reasonable prices. The shipping that I may pay is more than made up for by the low price of the yarn. There! Thankful again.
